WIC Food Package - Changes!


Changes beginning summer 2025:

Milk options

Milk options for women and children – if your benefit says "Fat Free/Skim Milk or 1% (WIC-allowed)”, you can purchase any of these milk items at the store:

  • Fat Free/Skim or 1% milk
  • Fat Free or 1% Lactose Free milk
  • Soy beverage (unflavored)
  • Nonfat powdered milk
  • Fat Free/Skim or 1% evaporated milk
  • Fresh Goat milk (Poplar Hill or Meyenberg)
  • Evaporated Goat milk

Milk options for 1-year olds – if your benefit says "Whole Milk (WIC-allowed)", you can buy any of these milk items at the store:

  • Whole milk
  • Whole Lactose Free milk
  • Evaporated Whole milk

WIC contract formula

If your benefit says: “WIC-allowed Formula-Powdered", you can purchase any of the WIC contract formulas at the store. See WIC Infant Formula.


Infant cash value benefit

If your infant’s benefit says "Fruit and Vegetables – (WIC-Allowed)”, you can purchase fresh, frozen and canned fruits and vegetables.
