The COVID-19 peacetime emergency ends on July 1, 2021. All certified individuals who adopted to waive the annual renewal training (Minnesota Rules, Part 4620.3300, Subp. 3a and Subp. 5, item B; Part 4620.3310, Subp. 4 and Subp. 6, Item B; Part 4620.3330, Subp. 4 and Subp. 6, Item B; Part 4620.3340, Subp. 4 and Subp. 6, Item B; and Part 4620.3350, Subp. 4 and Subp. 6, Item B) under the existing COVID-19 waiver or modification under Minnesota Session Laws - 2020, Regular Session, chapter 74, article 1, section 13, must return to normal statute and rule compliance on August 1, 2021.

Certified individuals are strongly encouraged to begin the necessary planning to complete annual renewal training by August 1, 2021. Individuals must provide a copy of their training course diploma to MDH after successful completion of the annual renewal training.
